Fantasy Historical

I think part of why the literary theme of Costume College this year is so appealing to me is that I really love the juxtaposition of fantasy and historical costume.  The Lost Hope fairies, the fairytale characters - there is so much room for wild creativity to mix with the straightforward historical style.  It's part of what I love about Victorian fancy dress so much. So when I saw this on Facebook this morning I thought I should share because it embodies those ideas so well
