Presto change-o: wig restyling

I need a tall "Marie Antoinette" style of wig for a shoot in a few days but wanted to use a wig from my stash instead of buying something new. I had a curly "showgirl" type wig I'd pinned up the curls on that I used for my Rita Skeeter costume that I thought would be just perfect.

So how does one turn this.............................................................................................into this?

It's not as hard as you might think!   First I un-pinned all the curls. Then I pinned two large hotdog shaped rats to the crown of the wig, set back 2-3 inches from the hairline, going from ear to ear.  I ratted some of the hair around the rats and pinned the ratted hair over the rats to cover them.  Then I combed the front hair up over the rats to cover them further and curled the back hair by combing it over my fingers and rolling into a curl.  I pinned these curls up, leaving only a few hanging down in the back, then I sprayed the whole thing with hairspray again and again.  And finally I finished it off with multiple coats of white spray on hair color (like you get for Halloween.) I think with a few flowers and plumes it will look just right.
