Dress U part 2
Meant to get around to writing this before now but what can you do?
So the Titanic Dinner was, as expected, a marvelous array of teens-era awesomeness. We had a particularly uproarious time at our table. It was a buffet, which detracted a bit from the feel of the dinner and it was a hotel, so nothing like the amazing the ambiance of the GBACG Titanic Dinner. The food was up and down: good salmon (but I hardly took any because hotel fish is generally not a good idea) and dry chicken, boring sides and yummy salad and dessert. But really, it was all about the socializing and picture taking anyway. I took tons of pictures, here are just a few of them... you can see all my Dress U pics on flickr here.
We ended up going to bed very late once again so missed the morning classes, but we did go the the Mad Hatter's tea at lunchtime. There were, as expected, some crazy costumes! Some wild, some silly and some ? The hotel's tea was a bit odd, I can honestly say I've never before seen tea sandwiches with toothpics full of olives and tomatoes holding them together before. The cookies were warm and yummy though!
The rest of the story in part 3 to come! :)
